With the recent success of the hit movie The Hunger Games, Mattel thought it fitting to launch the ultimate Barbie rendition of star character Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence.

Mattel portrays this fierce, strong-willed, arrow-shooting 16-year-old slayer in her natural element in a pair of khakis, jacket and side braid, just like in the film where she beats out her competitors and conquers the Hunger Games.
