They say all good things must come to an end. But this “thing” was so good that we hate to see it go!
Us Weekly recently reported that Miranda Kerr will no longer be working as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. Before you start hyperventilating, take a deep breath and relax, because she will still be working with the company.
In fact, Miranda has been booked to walk in this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and will continue to pose for the catalog, however her duties as a VS Angel have been relieved.

According to “multiple sources,” the Australian model’s $1 million deal with the lingerie brand is being dropped because she doesn’t draw as many sales as her fellow Angels. Although we find that hard to believe, there had to be a good reason and based on a recent statement to Just Jared, Ed Razek, President and Chief Marketing Officer at Victoria’s Secret said:
“Miranda Kerr is one of the best models in the history of the business – and easily one of the most popular. She is also a consummate professional. Any rumors to the contrary are simply untrue. While her international commitments have kept her away from us more than we’d like over the past few years, she will always be an Angel to me. We have no plans to stop working with her. In fact, I’ve already invited her to walk the runway in this year’s fashion show and, happily, she’s agreed.”
Well, at least we will still see her strutting her stuff in Victoria’s Secret’s sexy lingerie, just not as often.
