In an exclusive interview with GlobalGrind, model and philanthropist Selita Ebanks revealed to us how much her life and career has changed.
Since launching Shine on Sierra Leone, jumping behind the scenes to produce her own shows and dipping her toes into the acting pool, Selita has been on the fast track, adding onto an already successful career.

The interview came on the heels of the gorgeous Caymanian and former Victoria’s Secret model’s heart palpitating editorial in British men’s magazine FHM.
Selita appeared in sexy lingerie and discussed her role as Phoenix, the otherworldly character she portrayed in Kanye’s “Runaway” film.

“My career is going to so fast right now I can hardly keep up with myself,” Selita gushed after we asked her if she’s happy with where she is in her life.

“It is sometimes overwhelming, but I am having so much fun,” she revealed, ever so modestly.

When asked what her latest projects are, the Staten Island, New York native, who was discovered while walking through the turnstiles at Great Adventure when she was 17, said “Right now I am in the middle of planning the fall gala for Shine on Sierra Leone which is going to be a Halloween party.”

“After we raised all of the money for Shine on Sierra Leone, we decided to build a full hospital, not just a maternity ward,” the former “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant (she placed 9th) continued, explaining how her foundation’s goals have expanded.
“I look forward to doing more work in Africa with Shine on Sierra Leone and Angels for Africa for the Diamond Empowerment Fund,” she said.
