NIKE Unveils NFL Team Uniform Redesign For 2012 (PHOTOS)

Nike unveiled its Nike Elite 51 football uniforms for the 2012 NFL season yesterday.

Various athletes representing the 32 NFL teams joined Nike in New York, NY to unveil the highly innovative new uniforms including: Dallas Cowboys' Jason Witten, New York Giants' Victor Cruz and Philadelphia Eagles' Michael Vick.

According to their website: "The Nike Elite 51 Uniform is a uniform system rooted in body-led design, built for a body-contoured fit resulting in zero distractions in order to help amplify speed."

In addition to new fabrics and performance-inspired design, teams chose varying levels of design changes reflecting their unique heritage.

For example: the Seattle Seahawks worked with Nike to re-design the their uniform to honor the team’s Northwest roots, and also give a nod to their fans.
