Nicki Minaj may have left the fashion antics in the past...at least for this week. 

Following a stunning black lace dress earlier this week, Nicki Minaj opted out of multi-colored hair for a $1,350 colorblock dress. 

The self-proclaimed Barbie was fitting the bill last night as she stepped on the red carpet to fulfill her American Idol rounds at the Season 12 premiere event.

Nicki paired the Hervé Léger Colorblock Bandage Dress with a pair of black and white Christian Louboutin Mary Janes. 

The outfit is understated from what Nicki normally wears, but we can't say it's our favorite, however she did manage to look like an absolute Barbie with the platinum blonde hair and MAC pink lips.

The red carpet look comes after news that Nicki will be pairing up with Kmart for a capsule fashion line that will include clothing, accessories and housewares. 

“I am so excited to work with this iconic, mass retailer and to bring affordable fashion to my beautiful barbz all across the U.S," Nicki said of the collaboration.
