Nicole Kidman may not be known for her real estate savvy, but she definitely showed it off when she sold her home in the Greenwich Village section for New York for a cool $16 million dollars. The really impressive part is that it wasn't even for sale!

The Moulin Rouge actress bought the property back in 2003 and had been renting it for $45,000 a month. Why someone wouldn't just buy a home instead of paying $45,000 a month is beyond us, but one equally as savvy buyer put in a bid to actually buy the rental and Nicole was more than happy to oblige.

Nicole also owns a home in the nearby Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan with her husband Keith Urban. We're pretty sure that that extra $16 million will help out with the groceries.
