The Annual UNICEF Ball took place last night in Los Angeles and new mom and former Simple Life star Nicole Richie was in attendance to raise funds, awareness and to celebrate the work of one of the United Nations most important programs.

We're really feeling this look on Nicole, especially the use of leather in the bodice, which recalls shields or hints at protection, nevermind the slits below the ribcage.

The look is very elegant and ladylike, almost artful when you drink-in Nicole's Kohl eyes.
