The Kobe System allowed wearers to choose an insole based on speed or agility, but the Air Force 1 that was recently released simply put a new spin on a classic in time for the shoe's 30th anniversary.
Kobe releases an Air Force 1 just about every year, but this year, the Black Mamba may have outdone himself with two separate Air Force 1s for the Air Force 1 High “Kobe” Pack. Essentially it is the same shoe in a "Summit White" and "Black/Purple" colorway. The shoe features distressed leather, light tonal upper and rope piping along the classic silhouette. As you would expect from an Air Force 1 Hi, the shoe also boasts an ankle reinforcement velcro strap, a Phylon midsole, rubber outsole and Air-Sole unit.
Both pairs are available now via the Nike Store for $100, which isn't bad when you take into consideration that Kobe's signature shoe starts at $140. If you would like to check out some detailed images of the shoe, click through the gallery above!
