Visit The Mirabell Gardens

North of the Salzach lies the Schloss Mirabell and its adjacent gardens, a must for any "Sound of Music" lovers. Several scenes in the film were shot here, including the song "Do Re Mi," which features the gardens’ central fountain. If you are a fan of scenic walks or just gardens in general, this is one of the greatest around and it's rich history is good enough reason for a visit.
