High heels, handbags and perfume bottles are apparently what the new Fiat 500 by Gucci is made of!

Director Chris Sweeny, along with Italian Vogue’s Franco Sozzani and Purple’s Olivier Zahm, seems to think so at least. He created the latest short film for the luxury branded Fiat that features a machine transforming a few Gucci items into parts necessary for the Fiat to function. Who wouldn’t want a steering wheel that was once bottles of perfume, or a wheel that used to be Gucci high heel shoes?

The Fiat 500 by Gucci comes from a rich history of cars.
“The Fiat 500 is a car that everyone holds close to their hearts,” says Sweeney. “It’s an icon of design.”
Originally launched in 1957, the latest iteration of the classic Fiat has been specially customized by Gucci’s Creative Director Frida Giannini, who enhanced the Fiat 500’s distinguishing traits and added the fashion house’s signature detailing via a signature red-green web down the side and the unmistakable “Guccissima” leather print on the seats.

Sweeney created a giant plastic model kit of the Fiat 500 by Gucci like the ones he used to make as a kid and used to construct the finished model when all of the Fiat parts came out of his fictional machine.
