From The Runway To The Makeup Counter! Rihanna Launches New M.A.C Collaboration (PHOTOS)

Today the queen of bad gals worldwide is celebrating 25 years of life upon her throne, and what better way to celebrate the turn of a quarter century, then with a new collaboration?

Phresh out the runway from her collaboration with River Island, the birthday girl Rihanna took to Instagram to announce her new collaboration with M.A.C cosmetics.

She posted a photo of the new line with the following caption: 

That's right baby, I'm a #MACgal now! Get into it, package designed and products created from scratch by yours truly! Thanks to the EPIC team at #MAC for giving me the opportunity to play and share my favorite shit with my fans and yours

According to WWD, the company has tapped Rihanna as “creative partner,” for RiRi Hearts MAC., four limited edition color collections set to launch throughout 2013. And although the brand has collaborated with celebrities in the past, this is the first time the cosmetics brand has teamed with a celebrity on a long-term collaborative effort.

According to Fashion Bomb Daily's reports, each collection will be built around the capsule’s signature lip color, ‘RiRi Woo,’ a play on the brand’s iconic ‘Ruby Woo’ shade. ‘RiRi Woo’ will launch first, online and at Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds Tour’ performances at Barclays Center on the 4th and 5th of May. The remaining three color collections will follow, with a summer range to be sold online, as well as fall and holiday collections, which will be available in stores.

This is exciting news for Rihanna, and what better time for her to announce it than on her birthday?
