Rihanna is all about the whips, chains and claws, even at the Met Gala!

The songstress showed up to the 2012 Met Gala awards red carpet in a python inspired, skintight Tom Ford dress.

PHOTOS: Style Meets Hip-Pop: Who's Taking Who To Tonight's Met Ball?RiRi was tight and right in the black floor length gown that featured the back-less look that the pop diva has been sporting on a multitude of this season's hottest carpets. 

During the red carpet interview for the live stream, Rihanna mentioned that her dress was very "well made" and comfortable but it was her claw-like nails that took forever to complete the look.

RiRi was sporting Tom's designs but alluded that she too would be the mastermind behind some fashion designs as well, but stayed mum on exactly what realm of fashion she would be conquering.
