Ryan Gosling set off fireworks this year with incredible performances on and off the red carpet at photo-calls at Cannes and then some.

GlobalGrind got to thinking about our most fashionable men of 2011 and Ryan immediately came to mind as the favorite. 

Gosling knows what colors work for him, both this year and the year before that. His choices are clean and classy with a twist and he always looks  different than his heartthrob counterparts.

Ditto British actor Idris Elba and his fellow countryman Tinie Tempah, both of whom were easy on the eyes this year.

Elba dressed like a true English Gentleman. Tempah runs a close second and is about to be handed the fashion torch: he's up for GQ UK's Best Dressed Man of The Year, too.

Hip-hop is in for some changes next year; too bad it started early with rappers wearing kilts and blouses.

It wasn't that hard narrowing our list of 2011's Best Dressed Men because there weren't that many!
