It’s been a long time in the making, but we finally have a lookbook for the Spring 2013 menswear line by Hedi Slimane for Saint Laurent Paris.

You heard of the issues with the name change and you may have seen the pictures from their ad campaign, or even the womenswear runway show, but they saved the guys for last!

Today we have images from the Saint Laurent Paris collection in a lookbook photographed and edited by the man himself, Hedi Slimane.

Slimane was appointed Creative Director of the brand and judging from the pieces and the lookbook, his presence is definitely being felt. The whole thing is very reminiscent of his time at Dior: slim silhouettes and a primary palette of black and white, along with glitzy splashes of gold and bronze. It’s very rock and roll chic, an aesthetic that plays along with Slimane’s design work and lifestyle.

“I was literally born with a David Bowie album in my hand,” he once said in an interview and judging by the images in this lookbook, the album influenced quite a bit.
