Sanaa Lathan’s acting career has grown exponentially since her breakout role as the tomboy-ish basketball player in Love and Basketball, but Sanaa has walked a long road since the 2000 release of the film, a road that lead her to the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Achievement.

Last night, the actress stepped out looking flawless at the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards held at the NYU Skirball Center in New York City. 

Sanaa looked effortlessly stunning in a blue Catherine Malandrino jumpsuit as she accepted the award for outstanding achievement off Broadway.

Sanna outfitted the blue romper with simple chandelier drop earrings and a pair of black pumps. 

She posed with the award, and with pal and fellow actress Lucy Liu, who donned all black, but color blocked to the tee with a fab clutch.
