The first Air Jordan was released in 1985, that is exaclty 25 years ago and the brand is still relevant. Maybe more relevant now than it was in the 90s. Some may disagree and some may agree, but the point being is that there may not be a sneaker brand that will be relevant is hip hop culture such as Air Jordans.
The first time the Air Jordan 13s dropped was in 1998, the top hip hop albums were led by Outkast's Aquemini. And one of the top movies in the box office were Rush Hour.
For the 2010 release as of now there is no official release date for the classic Flint Air Jordan Retro XIII, just know the return will be later this year. The Flint Air Jordan Retro XIII retroed in 2005 so many people have been anticipating its return and were originally released in 1998. The 2010 Flint Air Jordan XIII hasn’t changed much since the last retro with it’s White, Blue, and Grey upper. The Blue on the upper, in these pics at least, does appear to be a shade darker than the last retro.
