Ladies take note; the Knowles must have just about the best beauty secrets in the industry.

Check out the excerpts from the interview below:

What I’m wearing on top : A white silk blouse.
I buy them all the time, in  different cuts, and I wear them with everything.
You remember that scene in Forrest Gump when he lists all the ways Bubba Gump’s shrimp to prepare?
But me, it’s the same: sleeveless, short sleeves, three-quarter sleeves, long sleeves, shoulder straps, satin, chiffon, and I could go on for hours. It’s so easy, simple and comfortable.

My bag: Actually I’m not very “bags.” I do not carry much around, so the idea of buying a bag just to carry my phone, my keys and my wallet does not really appeal to me.
It is perhaps also because every time I see a bag … I also see a pair of shoes, and I always prefer to invest in a pair of shoes!
What I like on the other hand, it is a very funky cover. I wear it often during the day.

My hair: Shampoo and conditioner Oil Monoi Carol’s Daughter. I also use raw shea butter every day and the pure argan oil when they are really dry (so pure that I find myself feeling limited to peanuts!).
Once a week, I take the time it takes to wash them and make a mask.
Then I brush them gently, always starting with the tips.
In general, I sit under a dryer to penetrate the mask. Then, once everything is rinsed and clean, I take two small sections of hair and I twist. I repeat the process, strand by strand.
Then I take a shower, but I do not wet my hair, I just let the steam curl it a little.
Sometimes I’m tired of doing all this, and I’m do braids or extensions, to get a break.

We love how open, candid and downright cool Solange is! Be sure to check out the rest of Solange’s interview over at Garance Dore.
