Who said history was boring? Last night art, fashion and cocktails collided at the Museum of Modern Art’s Party in the Garden, where Solange added a touch of tribal.

Solange was spotted at the New York City museum being her normal trendy self, wearing a tribal get-up that was sure to turn heads.
The daring DJ sported a turquoise and green tribal printed jacket with a white undershirt, and a bottom that doesn’t quite have a name on the fashion scene yet. The interesting take on the high-low skirt featured all the makings of a maxi skirt, but in the front, instead of creeping above the knees, the skirt revealed a pair of short shorts that exposed Solange’s limbs.

Not to over-do the look, she paired the ensemble with the perfect pair of nude pumps and a classic red lip.
