It’s Tuesday and hopefully you have eased back into the work week without any problems  Like always you still have a ways to go before the weekend, so we have come up with a few things that you can do so that you don’t tire yourself out or go broke in the process.

In today’s Ten Dollar Tuesday we have a couple of cool things that you can do if you happen to be in the city of Orlando, Florida. Don’t worry, there are no cartoon mice involved in this trip to Orlando but your pockets will be left feeling happy all the same. Check it out below.

Go at Wekiwa Springs State Park:

Located at the headwaters of the Wekiva River, the beautiful vistas within this park offer a glimpse of what Central Florida looked like when Timucuan Indians fished and hunted these lands. Just one hour from most central Florida attractions, Wekiwa Springs offers visitors the opportunity to relax in a natural setting, enjoy a picnic, or take a swim in the cool spring. Canoeists and kayakers can paddle along the Wekiva River and Rock Springs Run. Thirteen miles of trails provide opportunities for hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. To gain entrance into the park, all you have to pay is $6.00!

Play Glow-In-The-Dark Miniature Golf at Festival Bay Mall.

Take a break from reality and try the Ultimate Indoor Glow-in-the Dark Mini Golf Experience! The holes are as challenging as they are fun so make sure you take the time out to book your visit in advance. This will cost you $10.50 to get on to the course but we are sure that the fun you are sure to have will make up for the extra 50 cents that you spent.

Financial Tip Of The Day:

Install a Programmable Thermostat

These devices regulate the temperature in your house automatically according to the schedule that you set. Thus, when you’re not home, it allows the heating or cooling to turn off for several hours, saving you on your energy bill. A programmable thermostat can easily cut your energy bill by 10 to 20 percent.
