Since the start of spring, we've seen a few trends from the runways translate onto the street.

Floral prints, color blocking and neon are all the rage, but this week there was a red carpet explosion of another classic trend: black and white.

Yesterday model/actress Brooklyn Decker outshone her Battleship co-star Rihanna in London in a 'notice-me' print dress with mesh details by Stella McCartney.

RiRi took note: today she stepped out in a subtle black & white lace ensemble, also by Stella McCartney.

Kim Kardashian decked out in the trend not once, but twice within the week - first at Perez Hilton's birthday bash and a few days later at Valentino's star-studded party.

A-list celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and Olivia Wilde also did prints, but Black Eyed Peas' Fergie was the least glamorous if them all, she switched to a sportswear vibe by donning a black and white bomber jacket.
