I don't know about you guys, but the best part about my Tuesday is sitting at the Cool Table. I'm glad that you guys are able to come and chill with me. As usual it is my pleasure to show you guys all of the cool things that I came across this week. Check out what I picked out for you guys in this week's installment of Tuesdays At The Cool Table with me, Cool Table Jay.
My favorite piece this week is The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme “Galaxy” that was worn by Blake Griffin in the 2012 NBA All Star Game. Unlike the "Galaxy" Foamposite that caused riots nationwide, the graphic on this shoe is based on the moon. The galaxy graphic was saved for the lining of the shoe. The colors of the shoe just pop in all of the right places. The orange swoosh and glow in the dark sole set it off for me. There's no official pricing or release date but based on the prices for the average Hyperdunk, it may be about $170 for a pair, if you can find it when they officially release.
My second favorite item this week is are the glasses by Effectors that were designed by Nigo. Honestly, they aren't really the best pair of glasses that I have seen, but they remind me so much of the shades that Robert De Niro wore in Casino, that I want them. Sam 'Ace' Rothstein was so well dressed in that movie, and to this day, I think that every time I see the movie and his eyewear is always a speaking point when I talk about it. These glasses would make me feel a little bit more like a gangster (literally)!
You can check out the details on these items and more, all in today's installment of Cool Table Tuesdays.
