It looks like Rick Ross haphazard apology was nowhere near enough for one group of feminists.

UltraViolet, a newly formed women’s rights group has gathered 70,000 signatures to hand over to Reebok in order to get Rick Ross fired as spokesperson for their company.

The Miami rapper has been shouting Reebok’s praises on tracks and in real life as one of the brand’s supporters for a few years now, however, because of his controversial rape lyric on Rocko’s U.O.E.N.O. track, many are not happy with that.

After rhyming “Put Molly all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it/I took her home and I enjoyed that. She ain’t even know it,” the UltraViolet women’s group took to the streets to protest Rozay in front of the Reebok flagship store on New York’s prestigious 5th avenue.

“In remaining silent, Reebok is using it’s brand to promote rape,” said Nita Chaudhary, co-founder of UltraViolet. “Reebok and Rick Ross have crossed a line.”

Although Ricky went to a radio station and publically proclaimed that there was a misunderstanding with a lyric by saying:

“I would never use the term rape in my records, in my lyrics. And as far as my camp, hip hop don’t condone that, the streets don’t condone that, nobody condones that,” it looks like Ross’ apology was not enough for some.

Normally major companies like Reebok don’t like being attached to this type of controversy. Could this be the end to Ross proclaiming that Reebok is back?
