Coinciding with the celebration of her 38th birthday, Victoria Beckham shockingly launched an official Facebook page - finally joining mainstream social networking.

As a mother, wife, fashion icon and with the success of her fashion line, Victoria has a lot going for herself these days.

However, it was pleasing to see a little more down to earth side from her this past Tuesday when she joined Facebook and shared a few (literally) pictures from her birthday celebration.

Victoria launched the page posting pictures of her birthday gifts and decorations her lovely children put together for her.

Husband David Beckham seemed rather excited about her launch as well, tweeting in celebration:

"Hi everyone, there is a double celebration today, happy birthday to my beautiful wife Victoria and please welcome her to Facebook Victoria Beckham."

We’re excited that the fashion queen has opened up to social networking and hope to see more personal pics in the future!
