When you're getting ready for prom season, your first thoughts might be about the high fashion clothes and masks that everyone will be wearing. No? Us either, but Vogue Italia paints a pretty cool picture of the prom with just that.

Pho­tog­ra­phed by Steven Meisel, the spread puts an eccentric spin on prom that many probably aren't ever going to experience, but it's still pretty cool to look at.

The masquerade-like prom is enchanting enough to make it feel like you're not anywhere you've ever been, and intimate enough to make you feel like you may not want to be there.

The attendees are dressed in printed shirts, silk jack­ets and prime neck­wear amongst a vari­ety of embell­ished masks hail­ing from major labels includ­ing Louis Vuit­ton, Lan­vin, Prada and more.
