Welcome to the weekend! We know that you spend the week grinding and now it's time for you to take a bit of a break. Since it's a Wild Card Weekend we have put together some awesome things in Hong Kong that will make you not want to head back to work on Monday. Check it out below.
Take The Peak Tram
At 552m, Victoria Peak isn’t the tallest mountain in Hong Kong (that’s Tai Mo Shan, 957m, in the New Territories) but everyone likes to take the funicular railway, that goes up most of the way, at least once. Be prepared to line up at the Garden Road terminus, on Hong Kong island, for a seat that will cost you about HK$40It’s a short trip but surprisingly steep and, on a clear day, the views are stupendous. There are places to shop and eat at the top but also pleasant walks where the crowds thin out surprisingly quickly. If you’re with young children, it’s worth taking a short taxi-ride (HK$20) on up to Victoria Peak garden, which is charming and can be miraculously deserted on weekday afternoons.
