Yves Saint Laurent has decided to drop the Y and rename itself Saint Laurent Paris! The new name change is part of a huge branding overhaul established by the Parisian fashion house's new creative director Hedi Slimane. The new name won't appear until Spring 2013 when Slimane premieres their first collection.

What will happen to the infamous initials YSL? According to reports, the label containing the signature YSL initials will still be around for a limited amount of time, but official details have not been released yet.
