With only two months until the release of his sixth studio album, X, Chris Brown has been busy shooting back-to-back videos for his latest singles.
Chris Brown announced he has a new single titled "They Don't Know" featuring the late great Aaliyah.
On the heels of what would have been Aaliyah's 34th birthday, Blackground Records drops a previously unreleased track that's rumored to be featured on Aaliyah's forthcoming posthumous album.
To celebrate an angel truly lost, who would've been 34 today, here are 10 things you may have not known about her life.
The latest homage to Aaliyah comes from model Sessilee Lopez, who recreated the late songstress' tomboy chic look with designs from Fall/Winter 2012 collections, courtesy of designers like Jean Paul Gaultier, Valentino, and more.
The idea of a posthumous Aaliyah album featuring Drake and his producer Noah "40" Shebib has been criticized time and time again, especially by those who knew the fallen angel.
These individuals are a true testament to being gone, but never forgotten!
Even though Timbaland and Missy Elliot have made it clear that they will not be involved in the process of creating Aaliyah's posthumous album co-produced by Drizzy and his producer Noah "40" Shebib, Dame hopes he can offer his contribution in some way.
First it's rumors about Nas ghostwriters, now Missy and Timbaland will not be working on Aaliyah's new album.
The past few weeks in music have been fueled by rumors of an Aaliyah posthumous album being executive produced by Drake and his best friend/producer Noah "40" Shebib.
Aaliyah's cousin Jomo Hankerson, son of Aaliyah's uncle and owner of Blackground Records Barry Hankerson, confirms that Aaliyah's long time friends and music partners in crime, Timbaland and Missy Elliott, will be on the album.
Thankfully, Drake goes on to add that he and 40 hope to enlist the help of people who used to work closely with Aaliyah; our guess is Timbaland and Missy Elliott.
The late singer’s brother, Rashad Haughton, seems to also be a little confused and concerned over the OVOXO rapper’s latest project.
MissInfo received exclusive information stating that Timbaland will indeed produce songs on Aaliyah's posthumous album.
I don’t care who on this Earth he got approval from to do it, because Aaliyah’s approval is the ONLY one that matters.
