Last Friday night, Kanye West basically shut down the entire Internet (maybe the world!) when he world premièred the song and video for "New Slaves," projecting the video on buildings in major cities around the world.
Yeezus drops on June 18th and we are extremely excited. Famed DJ Tim Westwood must have been pretty excited too, because late last night he unearthed some previously unreleased footage of a 2005-Late Registration-Kanye West freestyling.
Earlier in the week a rumor hit the net (from the BBC, mind you) that Kanye West was going to name his new album I Am God. Given Kanye's ego, it's not hard to believe that this couldn’t be somewhat true.
Sean had a show in Brixton, London, and during his set, the rapper debuted a new track off the album called "Fire." Well, debut is a generous word. The rapper only played a couple of seconds of the track before turning it off.
Kanye didn’t say any names this time. Instead, the Louis Vuitton Don focused on the lack of creativity in the game and also the negative effect brands have in music.
We're sure there will be plenty performances of "N*ggas in Paris," even though we're sure Jay-Z won't be around.
Yes, Kanye appeared on stage wearing a mask and a straitjacket.
The 26-year-old producer recently inked a deal with Kanye West's Very GOOD Beats production division of his G.O.O.D Music label.
It looks like our boy Pusha T is feeling the Jamaican sprit with "Blocka," the next release off his upcomingWraith of Cain project (we think.)
A rapper like Big Sean is proof that hard work in this game can pay off. For years, Sean played the background role in Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music "Clique."
Yesterday, seemingly out of nowhere, a website called BlackAmericanPsycho.com popped up on the Internet.
GlobalGrind decided to compile a list ranking some dope music group compilations that were something to listen to - from the very best, to ehh, that was OK.
In the video, which was shot in 2003, and which is titled "Like Son, Like Mother," you see the late Donda West trying to remember an old Kanye verse. She forgets a couple of parts, but for the most part she has the lyrics down pat.
Even though everyone has a different style, background and shape, each piece fits perfectly into Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music puzzle.
Kanye West and his "Clique" link up with the likes of big brother Jay-Z, R. Kelly, Ma$e and Marsha Ambrosius just to name a few.
