The Alabama rapper sat down with Rhyme & Reason magazine and candidly discussed the injuries that led him to not only cancel his Detroit concert, but also his SXSW performance with his fellow label mates.
And with the Trayvon Martin tragedy capturing headlines all over the red, white and blue, music and its respective artists have stepped up to the mic to make it loud and clear – the people will be heard.
First he took time out of his concert at SOB's to acknowledge some unnamed artists who he feels are currently swagger jacking his style. Now, the R&B singer is claiming that “black people can’t do soul music anymore!”
As time progressed however, some of music’s hottest rappers and rock stars have taken decorating their dermis to the extreme – tagging their bodies in places we would have never assumed an ink needle would ever touch!
