You don’t hear about fashion designers collaborating with car companies very often, however John Varvatos got a head start on his collaborative effort with Chryster. The 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition and Luxury Edition will hit showrooms in the first quarter of 2013, with the Luxury version coming later this year. Pricing will be announced prior to the showroom debut.

The Limited Edition version screams toughness with its black exterior and metallic finishes inside and out. Inspired by a John Varvatos cologne bottle and dedicated to Varvatos’ hometown of Detroit, the Limited Edition 300C sports a Titanium-finished grille surround, Titanium Chrome Chrysler “wing” badge and black Chrome grille blades, which mimic the factories that once made the Motor City flourish.

The partnership suggests Chrysler wants to extend the success of their “Imported from Detroit” campaign beyond commercials to reflect a design that embodies the culture and can-do spirit of Detroit.

The 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition features ultra-premium leather and hand-sanded wood.

Drivers have an interior choice of monotone black or an exclusive Dark Mocha with black Poltrona Frau “Foligno” leather. The seats are wrapped in napa leather and both driver and front passenger seats are 12-way power-adjustable with two-mode ventilation and heat. The leather-wrapped steering wheel includes die-cast paddle shifters and a chrome accent ring to highlight the segment-exclusive 360-degree heated rim.

Outside, 20-inch aluminum wheels and a new platinum-chrome mesh grille and a Varvatos deck-lid badge complete the look. You can check out all of the pictures of the 2013 Chrysler 300C John Varvatos in the gallery above.
