Brotherspeak magazine is a magazine written for black men. The aim of the magazine is to entertain,educate, and empower all black men. There are black men in the board room, the mail room, on the streets, and in jail, and every single one of us has one thing in common. There's a next level for all of us to strive to get to and Brotherspeak is being written to help show the way.The interests of the editors and writers of Brotherspeak magazine are to be the men "pulling up" or motivating other brothers whenever we can and to accept the motivation whenever we need it.

The Ties That Bind If we know not from whence we came Then we have no idea where we're going When we as men disgrace our name We shame ourselves and leave a race in ruin The good news is that our destinies are ours to write So we can either fall for what's wrong or stand for what's right We are not brothers by blood, but brothers by the color of our skin So it's only by the strength of our unity that we can win Legacies aren't built by one life, but through the unity of a like mind Then it's through a joint purpose, that we find the ties that bind
