I have a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. I wrote a Senior thesis titled "The Semi-Banned Music: the Debate Over Lyrical Content and Themes in Rap." I am a freelance Hip Hop Journalist. I have written reviews for XXL and Scratch Magazine. I am a Radio/Mixtape/Party DJ. I am the Founder of Hip Hop Alliance (a Hip Hop Culture Club) at my school. Hip Hop Alliance is a group on campus dedicated to educating the Skidmore College community on Hip Hop Culture and its many issues with race, class, gender, sexual orientation and more. We do this with events such as discussions and lectures. You can see us in action on my YouTube (under the links section). In the future, I hope to become a Professor in American Studies with a focus on Hip Hop Culture. I also hope to keep working as a Hip Hop Journalist (writing a column, doing more reviews, doing interviews, and more).
