BENNY BOOM – BIOGRAPHY Benny Boom is one of the top music video directors in the industry today. His extensive experience, tireless work ethic, and creative genius have allowed him to produce some of the most groundbreaking and attention grabbing videos of the new millennium. From 2003 until Today, no director has done more broadcasted music videos than Benny Boom. Formally trained at Temple University’s School of Radio, Television & Film, Boom honed his skills working under such directors as Hype Williams, Little X and Paul Hunter. In 2000, Boom directed his first music video, and the rest is MTV history. To date, Boom has directed over 100 inspiring music videos for superstar clients such as P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Keyshia Cole, Akon, and Robin Thicke. His keen eye behind the lens keeps his clients coming for more, as evident by his high rate of repeat business. Between music videos, Boom has also directed several commercial spots for Jeep, Honda, Gatorade and Sears. He has shot in over 40 U.S. cities, Canada, Mexico and extensively abroad in France, Brazil, Ghana, and Spain. Recently, Boom began carving his niche in Hollywood by directing the soon-to-be cult classic, Next Day Air. Produced under the Paramount banner, the dark comedy boasts an all-star cast of Mike Epps, Wood Harris, Donald Faison, Mos Def, Lauryn London and Debbie Allen. Next Day Air arrives to theaters this May.
