i fell in love with music around the age of two. the first song my mother ever sung (or rapped i should say) to me was "king of rock". to this day it remains on of my favorites. music has always been a very important part of my life. i adore the ability to speak my soul in such an effusive way that the words created by my emotion tell the story of my lyfe in a manner that all like me feel where im coming from. i love all music, but my heart beats to the rythm of hip hop. i love hip hop because its speaks for my generation and all generations before mine. hip hop knows no colors or boundries. she is just music. hip hop is not just the storie of our lives, but the essence of people. she's the memories that we promise ourselvs we'll never forget. she is that tight feeling you get in your gut when having your first kiss. she is the tears that flow from your eyes when your heart has been broken for the first time. hip hop is lyfe.
