Reverend Run's bio

Best known for being one-third of the trailblazing, multi-platinum rap group Run-D.M.C., Rev Run is recognized as a pioneer of the hip-hop genre. Formed in 1983 in Hollis, Queens, Run-D.M.C. has sold more than 30 million albums and scored numerous hit singles. The group, which also included D.M.C. and Jam Master Jay, has left an indelible mark on hip-hop and popular culture with albums like Raising Hell, Tougher Than Leather and King of Rock.
