Meet the rebirth of hip-hop…Khayree. This innovative, expletive free artist is not new to the industry. He had his first recording contract in 2003 at the age of 13. Now, at only nineteen years old, Khayree brings a refreshing vibe to the hip-hop culture, expressing himself as an impactful lyricist who packs a powerful, profanity-free punch. Born and raised in the nation’s capital as the youngest of nine siblings, Khayree has been writing and rapping since the age of seven after his musically inclined brother inspired him to explore his own artistry. Khayree has since been devoted to perfecting his craft as a hip-hop artist. Khayree’s first contract (Jive Records) provided the opportunity to record with industry greats such as John Legend, Kanye West and Raheem DeVaughn. Khayree took a break from the studio to finish his education, which eventually lead him to Clark Atlanta University. While in Atlanta, Khayree was introduced to Chris King, executive producer of Signature Entertainment Group (SEG) and went on to sign with SEG in early 2009. Since signing with SEG, Khayree has landed a promotional deal with corporate giant Coca-Cola that features Khayree as one of the selected few artists for Sprite’s “Under the Cap” campaign. Additionally, Khayree recently released the mixed tape, The Secret is Out, to high acclaim of industry insiders gaining tremendous buzz. With catchy melodic hooks, humorous punch lines and real life stories, Khayree is definitely an artist to keep tabs on as he begins to revive the hip-hop world.
