Coming from a small town called Mebane, few people recognize the name even in the state. In the Hip-Hop world North Carolina doesn’t register as a place for Urban Music. Stats wouldn’t have it any other way. Given him the chance to fill a void in the trendy genre, Stats is ready to put North Cak on its back. His debut EP, Reborn, confronts serious issues that are relevant to the young Hip-Hop generation. His emotionally charged vocals and up-tempo tracks keep Hip-Hop heads nodding. Stats is releasing his debut EP Reborn, on his own record label, Real Image Entertainment. The EP has five tracks that will keep your legs busy and your head nodding. Stats puts all the busters on blast on “Stop Frontin,” “Lying on yo riches these cats is so pretentious/ cuz all I see is the rags so tell me where is all the riches.” He even takes time to educate young ladies about unprotected sex on “Protect Yourself,” “Now this goes out to my ladies, especially my sistas/64% of yall thought that this wasn’t goin to getcha.” Stats is currently working diligently on operating his own record label, Real Image Entertainment. In the next five years he plans to have his first artist signed under his own imprint.
