Undagroundz was created to be a one stop marketing and promotion solution for Independent Urban Music artist. Originally formed as Undaground ATL , a interactive magazine in 2006 , the CD-Rom based magazine served as a new way for artist to bridge the gap between promoting music online and in the street. Now under new management in 2009 Undagroundz is a network of media outlets including, a print magazine, a series of mixtapes called Live From Tha Undaground , and Undagroundz.com . 2009 will also be the debut of the Undagroundz DVD series and a large expansion to our Street Team efforts. Undagroundz is strongly structured around a co-op promotion principal that gives artists a organized and affordable way to share promotional resources. We encourage artists that work with us to actively work together to present quality music to the public by sharing flyer and poster space, as well as street team man power, and musical collaborations to maximize everyone’s potential for exposure. Undagroundz.com is currently undergoing reconstruction to increase available web resources for cross promotion. The new site will be a central hub for all of the Undagroundz Network. Undagroundz.com will feature full downloadable versions of Undagroundz Magazine and the Live From Tha Undagroundz Mixtape. It will also include a new community message board called The Hood where registered users will be able to log on and share ideas. The main page of the site will feature music videos, news , interviews, and other related video content from independent artists. The site will also include web pages for all of the artists in our network with information about the artist and were there music can be purchased both on and offline. Undagroundz Magazine has been restructured in a regular print format. It will contain all of the articles , news and information as before the only difference will be that it will be a regular print magazine as apposed to a CD-Rom. The video content from the CD-Rom will now be produced and released as Undagroundz DVD. Look for the next issue of Undagroundz Magazine on news stands in March and look for the first Undagroundz DVD later this year. Also in 2009 we will be releasing the 4th installment of the “Live From Tha Undaground” Mixtape Series. This series will continue to feature the hottest underground artists along side remixes of the hottest songs from major artists remixed by underground producers. The next mixtape will be available Febuary 5th with new installments coming once a month. Lastly we are implementing an improved Street Team program which will reward members with more exposure thru out the Undagroundz Network in exchange for completing Street Team assignments.
