Steve Tyson (aka DJ ear.2.ear) began writing rhymes, producing, and mixing since childhood, but didn’t actively pursue music until enrolling at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. In college, he was the premier in-studio DJ for 89.1 WFNM and was also the primary road DJ for the station. Alongside his partner in rhyme, T.R.E. (Trained Revolutionary Emcee), they have won a variety of musical competitions, as well as opened for Hip-Hop icons The Spooks and Talib Kweli. In 2007, he established his own record label, JusListen Entertainment, to spread his vision and music to the masses. His debut album titled “The Virtuous Lyricist” was released on 11/11/2008 and can be purchased at TysonsTake.blogspot.com. On a personal note, he is the nephew of world-renowned astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, and a relative of Emmy Award-winning actress Cicely Tyson.
