Now that the apparel Spring + Summer 2010 Fashion Trends are set, I wanted to focus more on the next important factor. Every female should take into consideration when wearing the trendy pieces that hair styles incorporate and embody the whole outfit. Depending on how your hair is styled can make a big difference on how the outfit looks. For instance, if you a wear a top that has a low cut exposing a lot of skin, one should not wear their hair down because it will only cover the design.
Also, certain hair styles, and cuts such as bangs, etc might not look good on every face shape. Hair is there to frame the face in such a way that acccentuates and hilights your beauty! So don’t get a style that covers your beauty or doesn’t fit your style. Last but not least, whatever cut you do decide to get must be maintainable! So, to make this fashion transformation as painless as possible here are the 2010 hair trends.

Plaited and Braided Hair:The original braid has evolved over time, as did every other hair style to fit new generations. The side braid was very popular on the catwalk during Fashion Week in Paris, New York, and Spain. Designers such as Alexander Wang favored the style on all his models for his Spring 2010 Collection. The braid is very simple and can be worn messy and loose or tight and structured. Either way, the braid does not cover the face and adds simplicity as well as elegance at the same time to any outfit.

Cassie looks beautiful while rocking the side braid (well thats the one way a braid can go on her haid since half her head is shaved off but thats not the point).

Long Wavy Hair: The long wavy hair look is inspired by the 1940/50’s and is very much easier to maintain and style. It is a great style that compliments long and round faces! It can be worn with any apparel, from a gown to jeans and a basic tee. It gives off the natural beauty look. All you need is the Wendy William’s diva fan to make it flow but remember ladies- if you are walking in the street, you make your own wind.

Kim Kardashian wears the ‘tossled loose wavesr’ look so much that it seems like she just wakes up with her hair like that.

The Slicked Side: Almost every artists has tried or at least attempted to pull off this look. This is the look where one side of your hair is slicked back ( using moose, gel, hairspray etc) and the other half is styles down and around the face. This hair style should be used for an event like a party rather then everyday. Ladies, you should find the natural part in your hair. Also, make sure you analyze how you face look parted on the right and left side of your head before finalizing on a side.
