An emotional family showed up in court Friday to face the teen charged with raping an 83-year-old great-grandmother.
Catherine Jimenez is one of eight children and one of a huge crowd that showed up to court to get a look at the boy accused of raping her mother. She says her mom is doing OK, considering her ordeal.
‘It’s horrifying — the most horrible thing I have ever had to experience in my life,’ Jimenez said. ‘My mother is a fragile, little 88-pound woman so I can just imagine the horror that she felt.’
