Ladies and gentlemen! I have my first ever physical album release hitting stores on Tuesday, July 13th. It will be a deluxe version of Boston’s Boy with four brand new tracks that I’m really excited for people to hear. Considering that my distribution was strictly digital for the Boston’s Boy EP, being in stores for people to buy is a milestone for me in terms of the many goals and aspirations I have. To actually be able to hold a copy of my own album, complete with artwork is a moment I’m looking forward to.
The music which I added onto the original version shows me moving in some new directions. For instance in ‘Still I Rise,’ I teamed up with G. Curtis and Matty Trump, and for the first time have a R&B vocalist over one of my singles (shouts to G. Curtis!). ‘Just Saying,’ another one of the tracks was recorded in NYC, where I met producers MPIII. The song is a feel good summer-esque song with a catchy hook. Looking forward to releasing both!

Among other things I got the opportunity to record with Curren$y, otherwise known as Spitta. It was crazy putting together a couple songs with him because I got to see his process and techniques that he used in the studio, but most importantly just got to smoke and kick it with the homie. We recorded ‘Fly Jets Over Boston,’ which is a really airy, open beat, so it was definitely a fun project to be on.
I’m proud of the original tracks and I am excited to release the news ones because I’m constantly working to grow and improve my skills as a lyricist and songwriter and I think it really comes across in these songs.
