We’re only weeks away from Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream album release date and the woman keeps on coming with hits. First it was ‘California Gurls’, then it was the album’s second single and title track, ‘Teenage Dream’, which is one of the best things we’ve heard all summer. And now it’s something totally different, call it Katy Perry’s nighttime track, ‘Circle The Drain.’
Produced by Tricky Stewart, ‘Circle the Drain’ is the darkside of Katy Perry. Aggressive, brooding, angry, it’s anything but a summertime track, but everything a third single should be. Hopefully the people at her label will take the risks and show a side of Katy Perry we don’t get to see that often.
