Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are reportedly gearing up to reveal the names of their newborn twins, born April 30. But before the pair share the news, Mimi took to Twitter to play a little game with her “Lambily.” “So we r bout 2 reveal the actual names and b4 we tell em 2 our friends etc. I had 2 C if any of the #lambily wanted 2 guess!!!” Carey tweeted yesterday. The pop/R&B diva’s lambs jumped on the case and began tweeting names, sparking Carey to give her 4 million plus fans a hint. “Both begin w/M’s!!!! : )” the songstress tweeted. Well, that eliminates frontrunner moniker “Glitter.”
News broke Saturday afternoon that the 41-year-old star gave birth to the twins, a boy and girl, Saturday morning (April 30), on Carey and Cannon’s third wedding anniversary. It was later revealed that the couple renewed their vows on May 1 when Rev. Al Sharpton paid the pair a visit. In addition to re-marrying the couple, Sharpton is also said to have blessed the babies.
“I am so moved by the sincere spiritual commitment of Mariah and Nick. They have not let success separate them from GOD. I am so proud,” Sharpton tweeted following his visit with the pair.
Carey and Cannon have yet to release details regarding “dem babies,” but we’re sure Mimi will continue to tweet out deats. The new mom has also been using her Twitter account to peddle her perfume, claiming the fragrance is the perfect Mother’s Day gift.
