The Daily Grind Video

Every day there are tons of music related tidbits that float around the internet, but how is one to know what’s good, what’s worth listening to and what everyone will be talking about tomorrow?

Well, you’re in luck, because GlobalGrind has rounded up some of the coolest, most buzz-worthy musical information of the day and you can find it here all in one place.

WHAT: Word on the street is Beyonce’s marketing team is rushing to cut last minute deals with either iTunes or Amazon to sell Beyonce’s “4” album for a mere .49 cents. Using the same strategy as Lady Gaga, who sold 400k records for .99 cents on Amazon, Beyonce is looking to go platinum despite her album being leaked a week ago.

WHAT: Legendary record exec is now the new face of Epic Records. As a judge on “X-Factor,” L.A. is returning to old territory to serve as chairman on the board at Epic.

FRESHEST TRACK OF THE DAY: Pitbull & Kelly Rowland

WHAT:  Cuban rapper Pitbull teamed up with R&B singer Kelly Rowland on his new track “Castle Made Of Sand.” Far from the party Spanish-English mashup, Pitbull gets serious about his life in “Castle Made Of Sand.”

THIS JUST IN: Justin Timberlake

WHAT: In a recent interview, the former boy-bander let Vanity Fair know that he waits for no one, not even Jay Z! JT told the magazine that when he reached out to Hov for a collab on his Future Sex/Love Sounds album, the mogul said he was too busy to work with him. Though Jay offered to collab on Justin’s next album, the offer was off the table by then.

The pop star doesn’t release albums as often as Mr. Carter so he wasn’t feeling the wait and told Jay Z, “these aren’t a dime a dozen to me.”
