Last night, one of their biggest supporters, the Godfather of Hip-Hop, Russell Simmons, appeared on MSNBC’s Martin Bashir show on Thursday night to discuss why he has joined the movement.

Simmons told Bashir that:
“All my employees ― every single one ― paid more taxes than I did.”
Simmons made his second appearance down in Liberty Square and on Wednesday, he joined the protesters for a moment to meditate.
