Two 12-year-old Harlem boys left an unsuspecting mother in a coma and have been turned over to Child Services (ACS), after tossing a Target shopping cart off the East River Plaza walkway.
47-year-old Marion Salmon Hedges was blindsided by the cart and is currently hospitalized in a coma.
ABC News reported that the victim was shopping for Halloween candy at a Harlem Costco with her 13-year-old son before being struck by the Target cart.

Despite their stupid act, families and friends of the two boys insist that they are good kids. At the hearing regarding the ACS taking custody of the boys, neither of their fathers were present.
Both boys are being charged with assault in the first degree.

It’s telling that both boys’ fathers were absent at the hearing. The role of a male figure to a child is important and it’s probable these two children were lacking in good male direction and discipline.
