Mariah Carey and John Legend kick it ol’ school in the holiday tune, “When Christmas Comes.”
Perhaps the modern day queen of Christmas music, Mariah Carey has released yet another Christmas collab.
In “When Christmas Comes,” the mother of ‘dem babies’ gets the help from R&B sensation and pianist John Legend.
The two blend their vocals beautifully in this track and give it an old time Peaches & Herb type feeling.
They sing:
“And me and you gon’ have ourselves a holiday / And we don’t need nobody else to celebrate / And we gon kiss our worries and our cares away / I can’t wait because it’s Christmas time.”

The soulful track was produced by James Poyser and originally appeared on Mariah’s 2010 holiday album Merry Christmas II You.
A video for it was shot over the weekend in Los Angeles, so we can expect that to drop very soon!
