Initially, it was reported that the entire Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2011 collection had gone missing, leaving little to no clothes from the collection for editors to pull from for their Spring shoots. Now, updated reports have said that the 64 items that were stolen are worth about $65,000 and are duplicate samples so the originals are still comfortably safe in their fancy garment bags.

The question now is, where in the world is Marc’s collection???

Reports first stated that they were lost en route from Paris; now updated reports claim the designer duds were last seen in the Mount Street area of London’s tony Mayfair neighborhood as they were being transported from Paris to the London store.

Marc should be flattered by the mysterious clothing heist; it puts his work on the playing field with best things stolen since the Mona Lisa.

We were itching for a modern day fashion mystery!
