Giuliana Rancic isn’t letting cancer control her life, she is taking control of the cancer.
The E! Host announced on The Today Show this morning that after much deliberation and concern, she will be undergoing a double mastectomy.

This past October, the 36-year-old E! Host went public about her ongoing battle with breast cancer.
Giuliana expresses that it “was not an easy decision, but it was the best decision for me.”
She is keeping everyone updated and aware of her current condition due to the love and support shown to her during these difficult times.

Giuliana says, “The overwhelming outpouring of love, prayers and support really helped me heal faster.”
While trying to conceive with her husband, entrepreneur Bill Rancic, a third round of in vitro fertilization prompted doctors to recommend that she get a mammogram, which helped them to discover Giuliana’s tumor in its earliest stages.
Bill remained by her side as she made the announcement on The Today Show and Giuliana said that he’s been incredible and supportive of everything.
The surgery is set to take place next week, although she is scared, she is optimistic and with all our prayers and support she will recover and become a stronger woman.
“I’ll have scars, but I like scars…Scars are beautiful because they tell a story.”
